What are the Most Popular English Teaching Programs for Teaching English in Korea?
Government placement programs provide opportunities to work in public schools abroad. The programs tend to be application-based and place you in specific locations within South Korea. Teaching placements can include grade schools, high schools, and even sometimes community colleges. Participants in these programs typically assist a local teacher abroad, rather than teaching solo, though there are some exceptions.

Applications must be submitted between February and July to start the program in September, and between August and January to start the program in March.
