Even though she's only 24, Krist had traveled in Europe and the Caribbean before earning her TEFL certification. She headed to Utsunomiya, Japan, to take a job teaching English in an eikaiwa (private language school). She loves immersing herself in the local culture and taking advantage of opportunities to travel throughout Japan and Asia.
